Medical Device Assembler I/II (Clean Room Technician)

Detailed Job Description:
This job is for a clean room technician at Cytograft Tissue Engineering. Cytograft manufactures biological vascular grafts and other medical products used for a variety of medical applications. All of our products are biological devices derived from cultured cells. Clean room technicians perform a variety of production related tasks including changing cell culture medium in a sterile environment, preparing sterile solutions, assembling parts, sterilizing instruments, maintaining inventory, and completing paperwork tracking the manufacturing process. The job requires extreme attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow production instructions. The job also requires a high level of manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive, manual tasks (such as feeding cells) while remaining highly accurate and observant.

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic reading and math skills
- Attention to detail & ability to follow written manufacturing instructions
- Good mechanical aptitude with manual decterity & hand/eye coordination to use various small hand tools
- Ability to work in a clean room environment
- Ability to assemble devices in an aseptic environment
- Ability to complete production data sheets, time sheets, incident reports, etc.
- Ability to observe & report discrepancies in the manufacturing process
- Ability to use basic laboratory equipment
- Previous experience in a related job a strong plus
- Ability to provide previous employment references
