The CTE Team

Cytograft has a balance of scientific, engineering, and management experience capable of developing Lifeline’s scientific promise into clinical reality. The company was founded by two scientists; Nicolas L’Heureux, Ph.D., and Todd McAllister, Ph.D. Their vision has been to lead a small and focused team to develop a clinically and commercially viable product line based on the platform technology of sheet-based tissue engineering.
Due to the high profile scientific attention associated with the completely autologous tissue engineered blood vessel, we have been able to recruit top scientists and surgeons in the field who are committed to making the transition from bench to bedside. In addition to active collaborative research with Stanford University, the University of Washington, and the University of Missouri, Columbia, Cytograft draws heavily from an experienced Board of Directors, comprised of
Robert Robbins, M.D. (Stanford), Frederick Oei, M.D. and Jose Malbran.
Key Advisors include Peter Fitzgerald, M.D., Ph.D. (Stanford), and Rich Ferrari (De Novo Ventures, CEO of CTS).
